What is the Reno APEX Training Program? APEX is the next step in the evolution of our Academy Technical Development Program.
Our player-focused soccer development program is the best soccer training program offered in Northern Nevada. The curriculum allows for players to develop at their own pace and is more than just teaching technical moves. There is a process and a methodology behind every movement, instruction and the implementation of the skill.
- Players are taught and will develop individual soccer technique and mastery of the ball, through an enjoyable curriculum with a proven track record.

Our APEX training program is designed to develop players of various abilities and ages simultaneously.

APEX Program is open to all Reno APEX players
When joining our soccer club, players are placed on a Reno APEX team that competes in league (usually GBYSL or NorCal Premier). League games are played primarily on weekends and the teams practice weekday evenings. Players are encouraged to attend our Sunday APEX sessions run by our Coaching Staff and Directors.
Club-wide APEX Training Sessions are usually 9:00 am to 10:00am on Sundays. Typically 3 to 4 Sundays during the Fall, Winter and Spring months. Our primary location is Moana Soccer Complex (240 W. Moana), however it is also held at South Valleys (South Reno), or Golden Eagle (Spanish Springs) fields on occasion. During winter months when grass fields are closed, our APEX training sessions will move to the SWIFT Sportsdome in South Meadows (Reno).

Players that are rostered to independent teams or choose not to play league games yet, are all eligible to sign-up and attend our weekly sessions.
Academy Training Only fee is $65 per month ($95 during the winter months) and can be cancelled at any time.

My son/daughter plays on a team in Great Basin Youth Soccer League (GBYSL) or Northern Nevada Soccer League (NNSL) and would like to do the training. Can I sign them up?
Yes, provided they are playing on a recreational team and not registered with a club or a pre-competitive team. If you want them stay on that team and train with us, you will want to register for the APEX Sunday-Only program above. If you are ready to move them to one of our club teams, we can take registrations as soon as the recreational season has finished.
My son/daughter has some friends that might be interested in APEX training. Can we bring them along?
Yes, no problem. We are happy to have guests join us and do a trial session to see if they like it. We do ask that everyone interested completed a sign-up online and we will follow up with an invitation to join us.
I’m a coach of a recreational team. Can I bring my whole team for APEX Training?
Yes. Each player will need to sign up individually, but your entire team can do the training program. We encourage coaches to learn the curriculum so they can assist and participate as well. We also welcome recreational coaches who want to move their teams into the club in between seasons, so we can provide a higher level of support and training for both the players and the coach.
